Our story

We built the software we couldn't find.

Corebility started the way most good studio software should: two studio owners, tired of stitching together three disconnected tools, decided to build the one they actually needed.

How it started

Zeina Grifoni is a physical therapist and Pilates instructor. In 2005 she opened a studio in San Rafael, California — Synergy+ Physical Therapy and Pilates — built around the hands-on, one-on-one care she'd trained for.

As the studio grew, so did the paperwork. Bookings, billing, class schedules — the admin side of running a studio started eating into the hours she wanted to spend actually teaching and treating clients.

The turning point

Three tools. One headache.

In 2007, Zeina asked her husband, Tiziano, to take the admin work off her plate. He signed up for Mindbody that same week. It helped, for a while — but Mindbody alone couldn't cover everything the studio needed.

So they bolted on a second tool for accounting, and a third for home exercise programs and online classes. Now the studio ran on three separate platforms that didn't talk to each other — each with its own login, its own quirks, its own bill. What was supposed to free Zeina up to teach was quietly draining time, budget, and energy from both of them.

So they built the thing themselves

That's when Zeina and Tiziano hit their turning point: instead of adding a fourth tool, they decided to invest their own resources into building one — a single system for calendars, bookings, client management, home exercise programs, and online classes. After months of work, Corebility was born.

Still their studio's daily software

Corebility isn't built by a software company that's never taught a class. It's the same system Zeina and Tiziano use every day to run Synergy+, their own studio — now across two locations, San Rafael, California, and Ascona, Switzerland. If something's clunky or missing, they feel it first, because they're running their own business on it too.

That's also why it's built the way it is: no enterprise bloat, no per-location or per-login fees, no long-term contracts. It's made by the people who use it, for people running the same kind of business.

What we're building toward

Our mission is simple: give Pilates and yoga studios, personal trainers, small gyms, and rec centers one place to run their business — bookings, client accounts, reminders, payments, and home exercise programs — without paying for features built for franchises they'll never need.

If you're tired of juggling tools that don't talk to each other, that's exactly the problem we started with. See if Founding Membership is still open, or check pricing to see what it actually costs.
